Fees & Appointments

My standard fee is £70 per session. I can accept Medical Insurance Payments.

I would like to meet you for the initial assessment appointment without further commitments.

This would give us an opportunity to identify if I am the right counsellor for you.

I would not charge you for the initial appointment if for any reason we conclude that you need to seek another counsellor or a more specialist professional.

I require your upfront payment for the initial assessment session, and I would refund your fee should we decide not to continue beyond first appointment.

Should you decide to continue working with me I would encourage you to commit to an additional 6 counselling sessions. This would ideally be regular weekly sessions with agreed focus and clear goals.

Such time conscious counselling is often successful if you wish to focus on present issues. However, should you wish to work on a deeper level and explore past issues we would need to discuss a longer term commitment.

I would require your upfront payment for 6 sessions, and I would book all of your appointments at the initial meeting. In This way you would be guaranteed to have appropriate day/time slots reserved for you.

Where we agree to work open ended or longer term I would need to encourage you to book your appointments monthly, meaning for the forthcoming month in advance and I would require your payment for the booked appointments.

I require 48 hours notice of cancellation.

Where you give me less than 48 hours notice, I would endeavour to offer you a replacement session within the same week. However, if you are not able to take that offer I would have to charge you a regular fee.

I would give you a 3 week notice for my holidays and I would require from you the same.

I would consider that you are taking a break from counselling if you take more than 4 weeks holiday at a time.

I will invoice you as per above agreement option.

I accept BACS Transfer or Medical Insurance Payments.
